The EA888 Gen3 in the Leon Cupra 300 is identically mapped to the Golf R at the factory. The same tuning headroom applies — Stage 1 gains are consistent and well-proven across thousands of examples.
A Stage 1 remap on the SEAT Leon Cupra 300 requires no hardware modifications. Our specialist software recalibrates boost, fuelling and ignition timing within the engine’s safe limits, delivering instant, driveable gains you’ll feel from the first drive.
Stage 2 requires hardware modifications — typically a performance exhaust, uprated intercooler or induction kit. Combined with a custom ECU map, this unlocks the full potential of the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen3 engine.
What Changes
Boost, fuelling, ignition and throttle maps are recalibrated. The Cupra pulls harder from lower revs and maintains power more consistently at the top of the rev range — delivering the driving character SEAT's engineers had to hold back.
Factory boost is set conservatively. We raise it to the level the turbo and internals can comfortably sustain, unlocking power that was always there.
Fuel delivery is recalibrated to match the new boost levels precisely — giving a cleaner burn, better response and improved efficiency under light loads.
Timing is advanced where the engine can safely benefit, improving combustion efficiency and delivering more torque across the full rev range.
The factory throttle map is deliberately muted. We sharpen it so the car responds the moment you press the pedal — no lag, no hesitation.
