Generic tuning files often come with generic claimed gains — numbers based on what ‘usually’ happens on that engine, not what actually happened on your car. Every vehicle varies slightly due to condition, mileage, ambient temperature and fuel — a dyno run tells you the truth for your specific car, not an average.

Before and after, on the same day, same conditions

Running a baseline pull before tuning and a verification pull after, on the same dyno, same day, gives a genuine like-for-like comparison — removing the guesswork and giving you a real before/after graph to keep.

What you get: a printed or digital dyno graph showing your car’s actual power and torque curve, before and after — not a marketing number.

Catching problems before they leave the workshop

A dyno run doesn’t just confirm gains — it can reveal issues that wouldn’t show up on a short road test, like a flat spot, a boost leak, or inconsistent fuelling under sustained load. Better to catch that on the rollers than on the motorway.

Why 4-wheel matters for many cars on our roads

A significant number of the performance cars we see — Audi quattro models, many modern BMWs, Golf Rs — are all-wheel drive. Testing them properly requires a dyno that can measure all four wheels simultaneously, which is exactly why we run a MAHA 4-wheel rolling road rather than a 2WD-only unit.
